In exchange for access to the information in the PhotographerRegistry.com search engine, hereafter "registry," all users must agree to the following terms and conditions.

Permitted uses of the registry include obtaining information for the purpose of contacting a photographer or studio to seek reproduction rights and/or permissions of an image.

However, any use of the registry related to marketing a product or service to the individuals and companies listed in the search engine is strictly prohibited. Users of the registry who violate these terms agree to pay liquidated damages to Professional Photographers of America in the sum of $50 for each record that is viewed or obtained for unauthorized purposes.

Participation in the registry is voluntary. Professional Photographers of America (PPA), or any other participating association is not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of, any of these businesses or individuals or the content of their Web sites. AVA does not assume any responsibility for the actions, product, and content of all these and any other third parties. You should carefully review their conditions of use.

Further, PhotographerRegistry.com prohibits sharing your contact data with third parties and warrants that the information will not be shared, sold or exchanged with any third parties.  By creating an account, you agree to receive periodic information from PPA regarding your account only. In creating an account, you are also eligible to receive additional information from PPA on copyright and other issues.
